The Marine Information Centre (MIC) is on the third floor of the IMarEST HQ building. It offers both traditional library facilities and a range of virtual and specialized electronic services to both members of IMarEST and the wider public. Most of our core services are free, or at reduced cost, to our members. For example our Library Catalogue which can be found at www.imarest.org/olib is the key to our holdings and our unique database of marine consultants and companies The International Directory of Marine Consultancy (IDMC) can be found at www.imarest.org/idmc . The library is open to all during office hours. There is no need to make an appointment to visit, but non members will be required to sign the visitors book in our Reception. Only IMarEST members are entitled to borrow books.
