On Wednesday 13 June evidence from IMarEST was presented to the Select Committee of Science & Technology at the House of Commons by Dr Ralph Rayner, Vice President, Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (IMarEST). It is the function of this Committee to examine the expenditure, administration and policy of the Office of Science and Innovation and its associated public bodies. This includes the seven UK Research Councils, the Council for Science and Technology, the Royal Society and Royal Academy of Engineering.
